JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON MD. SOIB ANSARI V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

RANCHI, India, April 26 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 2:

1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondent State.

2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Tarhasi P.S. Case No.45 of 2023, for the offence registered under sections 379 IPC, section 21 of Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, rule 54 of Jharkhand Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2004 and rule 13 of Jharkhand Mineral (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2017, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau.
