RANCHI, India, April 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 24:
1. The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent to make payment of compensation as well as to provide the benefit of Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) Policy to the petitioners under the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for construction of Multimodal Terminal at Sahibganj under "Jal Marg Vikas Project" on the requisition of Inland Waterways Authority of India.
