RANCHI, India, June 26 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 29:
1. The petitioners are accused for the offences punishable under Sections 308(2)/308(3)/308(4)/308(5)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of Arms Act, 1959.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case and have not committed any offence as alleged. As per allegation, two persons entered the house of the informant and extorted Rs.600/- from him on gun point. In fact, the petitioners have been roped in the present case merely on suspicion.
