RANCHI, India, June 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 27:

1. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Section 317(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; Sections 4 and 21 of the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957; Rules 7 & 9 of the Jharkhand Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2017 and Rule 54 of the Jharkhand Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2004.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. The petitioner is the driver of the tractor bearing registration no.JH-23B-3295, Chassis no.MBNAN48ADNTG18...
