RANCHI, India, Nov. 5 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 6:

1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner is challenging the order by which he has been punished.

3. Admittedly the order is appealable. The petitioner has not preferred any appeal before the Appellate Authority.

4. Thus, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

5. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority who will consider the case of the petitioner on merits and pass an order after giving one opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
