RANCHI, India, May 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 24:

1. Heard the parties.

2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 438 and 440 Cr.P.C., has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No.205 of 2023, for offences under Sections 420, 427, 506 & 120B IPC. The case is presently pending before the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.

3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

4. From the impugned order and the materials on record, I don't find anything which would remotely suggest that there is an eminent threat of the petitioner being arrested.
