RANCHI, India, July 10 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on June 10:
1. Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for release of the renewal commission for the insurance policies solicited by the husband of the petitioner for Life Insurance Corporation of India and other legally payable benefits while working as an Agent.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel that petitioner is the wife of Shobhnath Mahto, who was an LIC Agent under the Agency Code No.1375/55P and his services as Agent was confirmed as per Regulation 7(2) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Agents) Regulations, 1972.
