Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Salt Of S-Oxprenolol' Filed by Actimed Therapeutics Ltd.; and Faraday Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072460 A) filed by Actimed Therapeutics Ltd.; and Faraday Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Ascot, U.K., on July 30, for 'salt of s-oxprenolol.'

Inventor(s) include Joseph, Melissa; Lawrence, Ronnie Maxwell; Morten, Elaine; Chitre, Saurabh; Kelk, Natalie Louise; and Callahan, Craig.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt of: (i) S- oxprenolol; and (ii) phosphoric acid. Medical uses of the salt and compositions comprising the salt are also described."
