MUMBAI, India, April 18 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517013420 A) filed by Kao Corporation, Tokyo, on Feb. 17, for 'ice cream.'

Inventor(s) include Nii, Takanori; and Takeshita, Masao.

The application for the patent was published on April 18, under issue no. 16/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ice cream having a chlorogenic acid content of 0.01-1.50 mass%, wherein the ratio of the caffeine content to the chlorogenic acid content is 0.60 or less."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 02, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/035890.
