MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092565 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on Sept. 26, for 'hot-dip galvanized steel material.'

Inventor(s) include Furukawa Shinya; Tokuda Kohei; and Goto Yasuto.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In this hot-dip galvanized steel material, a plating layer has a chemical composition containing more than 10.0% but less than 45.0% Al, 4.0-15.0% Mg, 0.01-2.0% Si, and 0.03-1.50% Sr, with the remainder being Zn and impurities.
