MUMBAI, India, April 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414070561 A) filed by Exedy Corporation, Osaka, Japan, on Sept. 18, 2024, for 'drive unit and three-wheeled motorcycle.'
Inventor(s) include Kimoto, Yutaka; and Kishitani, Kohei.
The application for the patent was published on April 25, under issue no. 17/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "It is intended to cool an electric motor. The present drive unit is configured to be installed in a two-wheeled or three-wheeled motorcycle provided as a vehicle. The drive unit includes a driveshaft and an electric motor disposed behind the driveshaft."
