MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517081505 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 28, for 'battery disconnection unit including fire-extinguishing liquid and secondary battery comprising same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a battery disconnection unit which may be disposed within, for example, a battery pack. The battery disconnection unit prevents a fire occurring in the battery pack from spreading or retards the fire to maintain the performance there...
