MUMBAI, India, April 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311071943 A) filed by Indian Council Of Medical Research, New Delhi, on Oct. 20, 2023, for 'a crispr-cas13-based tool for rapid detection of mycobacterium tuberculosis.'
Inventor(s) include Ranganathan, Uma Devi; and Padmanaban, Venkatesan.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to assays and methods for the identification of infectious diseases.
