India, Jan. 9 -- CENTRAL RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "Supply of Wooden Packing" with the tender reference no.: 96255388C.
The tender details are as follows: Supply of Wooden Packing with size 750x450x150. Material should be seasoned SAL or Babo ol wood and to be secured both ends with 30mm x 0.5 mm MS strips. These strips should have distance of 3 inch from the length wise ends and inserted in packing by making equivalent groove to suit metal band a nd should be level to the surface of packing. Material Specifications- Hard wood IS- 707. Metal band IS 1079 ST-34 [ Warranty Period: 30 Months after the date of delivery ] ]
