India, Oct. 1 -- NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "Tyre Defect Gauge for Bg Coaching" with the tender reference no.: 92256963.
The tender details are as follows: Tyre defect gauge for BG coaching stock, as per Railway board approved IRCA Part 4, Rule 2. 8.4 and Plate 38. To check the various wheel defect like thin flange, Sharp flange, Deep flange, Hollow tyre/ false flange, Root radius and flat places on wheel. The gauge must be suitable for checking wheel flatness 50 mm rejection limit and thin flange 22 mm rejection limit.
