INAUGURATION OF RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION AS PART OF PROJECT SEABIRD PHASE IIA

India, Oct. 14 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, inaugurated residential accommodation forSenior Sailors and Defence Civiliansof the Indian Navy as part of Project Seabird Phase IIAat Naval Base, Karwar, on 14 Oct 2025in the presence of VAdm K Swaminathan, FOC-in-C, Western Naval Command, VAdm Rajesh Dhankhar, Director General Project Seabird, and other senior officers.

The residential accommodation located east of Manzil Creek and Amdalli consists of four Towers of Senior Sailors married accommodation comprising 240 Dwelling Units (DUs), and four Towers comprising 240 DUs for Naval Defence Civilians. Once fully developed,the townships would comprise 2,160 accommodation units...
