HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA ISSUES ORDER ON THE GOA FOUNDATION THR ITS SECRETARY, CLAUDE ALVARES V/S THE STATION MASTER, KALAY RAILWAY STATION AND 6 ORS

GOA, India, Feb. 22 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa issued the following order on Jan. 23:

1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. This application seeking amendment is not opposed by any of the Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents. Even, otherwise, we think that this amendment and impleadment is necessary for adjudication of the issues raised in the PIL Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, this application is allowed. Leave is granted to amend and implead the party. Ms Alvares states that the amendment will be carried out within next two days and even copies of the amended Petition will be served upon the learned Counsel for the Respondents.

4. Misc. Civil Application No. 44/2024 is disposed of.
