GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON RAJIB HUSSAIN LASKAR V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM AND ANR.

GUWAHATI, India, June 6 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on May 6:

Heard Mr. L.R.Mazumder, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R. R. Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the opposite party/respondent No.1.

It appears that though the petitioner has taken steps for issuance of notice on the respondent No.2, however, no report has been received in respect of the same.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam is requested to let this Court know on the next date fixed after getting information from the Officer-in-Charge of the jurisdictional Police Station regarding receipt of the notice by the respondent No. 2.
