GUWAHATI, India, Sept. 25 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Aug. 26:
Heard Mr. M. Nath, learned Sr. Counsel assisted by Mr. D. L. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner also heard Mr. S. C. Keyal, learned Standing Counsel for Assam University/Respondents No. 1-5.
It is seen that notice was not issued to the respondents No. 6 & 7. Accordingly, notice being issued to respondents No. 6 & 7 through registered post with AD within 3 (three) working days returnable by 2 (Two) weeks.
Mr. S. C. Keyal, learned Standing Counsel, submits that there is urgency in the matter and that he has received instructions for which the matter can be disposed of at an early stage.
