GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON NAZIM UDDIN V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM

GUWAHATI, India, July 10 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on June 10:

1. Heard Mr. K. Uddin, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D.P.Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam, who has submitted that though the Case Diary was called for, however in the meanwhile, charge sheet has been laid in this case bearing charge sheet No. 48/2025 dated 23.05.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted interim bail by this Court, by order dated 17.03.2025, and in pursuant to the directions of this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has co-operated in the investigation.
