GUWAHATI, India, Nov. 4 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Oct. 8:
1. Heard Mr. M.Z. Shah, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K.K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioners, namely, 1. Mithu Biswas and 2. Jamat Ali, has prayed for grant of bail in connection with Bilasipara P.S Case No. 226/2025 (GR No.386/2025) registered under Sections 303(2)/317(2) of BNS, R/W Section 13(i) of Assam Cattle Preservation Act.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the accused persons are in custody since 06.08.2025.
