GUWAHATI, India, May 19 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on April 18:

Heard Mr. S.P. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.2. This is an application under Section 5 of Limitation Act for condoning the delay of 150 days in filing the connected Criminal Revision Petition.

Issue notice to the respondent No.1 by registered A/D post and usual process, returnable within 4(four) weeks.

As Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has entered appearance on behalf of the State respondent No.2, no formal notice need to be issued. However, a copy of the petition along with the documents annexed thereto be furnished to him.
