GUWAHATI, India, June 10 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on May 13:
1. Heard Mr. M. Hoque, the learned counsel for the petitioners and also heard Ms. N. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent.
2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioners, who is apprehending arrest in connection with Goalpara River P.S. Case No.22/2024, under Sections 9/11 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, r/w Section 6/17 of POCSO Act.
3. The case is today listed for Case Diary but it is submitted by Ms. Das that charge-sheet has already been filed vide C.S. No. 2/2025 dated 31.03.2025.
