GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER FOR DEEPJYOTI NEOG ALIAS DEEP NEOG V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM AND ANR

GUWAHATI, India, Jan. 20 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Dec. 19:

Heard Mr. M. Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P appearing for the State.

The allegation levelled against the petitioner involved the provision of POCSO Act. Therefore, in accordance with the prevalent notification, let notice be issued to the respondent No.2, in the meantime.
