Improving Financial Inclusion Metrics
India recorded the lowest inflation rate since the beginning of the CPI series, with April-December 2025 average headline inflation coming in at 1.7%, attributing to general disinflationary trend in food and fuel prices.
RBI's Financial Inclusion (FI) Index measures the country's progress in achieving financial inclusion. It captures data on 97 indicators related to banking, investments, insurance, postal, and pension sectors across three dimensions: access, usage, and quality.
