CENTRAL INFORMATION COMMISSION ISSUES DECISION ON SANJAY KUMAR SINGH V/S CPIO: CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JHARKHAND, RANCHI, JHARKHAND

India, April 19 -- Central Information Commission issued text of the following decision on March 19:

1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 26.03.2024 seeking information on the following points:

(i) Please provide certify copy of attendance sheet of Sanjay Kumar Singh (The Then Civil Engineer on contract) from date of joining to date of leave Central University of Jharkhand.

2. Having not received any response from the CPIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 27.04.2024. The FAA vide order dated 03.05.2024 directed the CPIO to provide the Appellant the information demanded in the RTI application within 15 working days, if available and if not exempted under RTI Act, 2005.
