India, April 19 -- Central Information Commission issued text of the following decision on March 19:
1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 27.02.2024 seeking information on the following points:
1) Circular of Reserve Bank of India and Punjab and Sind Bank, as well as office notes stating that accounts under rice and skimmed mill powder are not eligible for revival / rehabilitation, as per Guidelines promulgated by RBI by virtue of the powers conferred on it under sections 21 and 35A of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 vide notified circular Reference No. RBI/2015-16/338FIDD.MSME & NFS.BC.No.21/ 06.02.31/ 2015-16 dated 17.03.2016).
