India, April 12 -- Central Information Commission issued text of the following decision on March 12:

1 The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 17.01.2024 seeking information on the following points:

1) The specific timelines and procedures in place for resetting EMIs for customers who availed the moratorium during COVID-19 (Provide RBI circular stating the timelines and procedures).

2) Information on any communication channels or platforms through which the bank/financial institution notifies customers about the resumption of regular EMI payments post the moratorium period.

3) Any guidelines or policies that the bank/financial institution follows in determining the new EMI structure for customers after the moratorium period.
