India, March 19 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
Depending on the size of the project units approved under Buddhist Development Plan (BDP), Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) in Ladakh and other Himalayan States the timelines for completion of respective units ranges from 12 months to 36 months after the release of 1st instalment of the projects.
The projects under BDP component of PMJVK are executed by respective States/UTs/CGOs and the funds are released to them only. No direct funding is done to any private individual or firms. The already available Central Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) can be utilized for grievance redressal for beneficiaries under the BDP.
