India, Feb. 6 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:

The Ministry of Tourism launched its Swadesh Darshan scheme in 2014-15 and sanctioned 76 projects for rs 5287.90 Crore under this endeavor. The Ministry has revamped this scheme as Swadesh Darshan 2.0 with the objective to develop tourism destinations in the country and has till now sanctioned 34 projects for rs 791.25 Crore. The details of the projects sanctioned under Swadesh Darshan and Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme in the country along with details of Revised Budget Estimates (RE) and expenditure made during last 3 years is annexed.
