Hyderabad, Jan. 27 -- The teachers organized a protest to stop the transfers and promotions of teachers in the state and alleged that those were being done through the Secretariat officials.
Teachers held a dharna under the leadership of TPUS and UTF in a government school in LB Nagar. They demanded that the State Government withdraw the 'illegal' transfers. They criticized the government for opening the door to illegal transfers. By making such transfers, the teachers, who have been waiting for regular transfers for many years, will suffer immense loss and injustice, they alleged.
