Hyderabad, Dec. 30 -- BRS MLC K Kavitha visited the revered Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Ammavar temple on Saturday, calling for national status for the Medaram Jatara, a biennial tribal festival known as the 'Kumbh Mela of South India.'

Upon her arrival at Ammavarla Gaddela, Kavitha was warmly welcomed by BRS leaders, activists, and priests. She was accompanied by former minister Satyavathy Rathore, MP Malothu Kavitha, former MLA Dasyam Vinaya Bhaskar, and BRS leader B Nagajyoti.
