ALIGARH, Nov. 16 -- ALIGARH : The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, observed World Diabetes Day with a series of activities aimed at raising awareness and extending support to patients, particularly individuals living with Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
As part of the programme, around one hundred glucometers were distributed to patients to promote regular self-monitoring and improve diabetes management. An interactive quiz competition was also organized to educate and engage participants, with winners receiving special prizes in recognition of their enthusiasm and awareness.
