India, Feb. 9 -- The week-long Urdu Refresher Course, titled "Urdu Language and Literature Teaching: Modern Teaching Methods and Possibilities," organized by the Urdu Academy, Aligarh Muslim University concluded with a valedictory function addressed by the chief guest, Dean, Students' Welfare, Prof Rafiuddin and the guest of honour, Dean, Faculty of Social Science, Prof Shafey Kidwai.
Prof Rafiuddin said that modern teaching methods in schools will increase the interest of Urdu students and it is imperative for the Urdu teachers to learn and employ modern teaching tools for better results.
He said that teachers are harbinger of change in society and they should be aware of the modern teaching devices as well.
