India, Feb. 1 -- India's ambition to become Viksit Bharat by 2047 is fundamentally anchored in the vision of inclusive and sustainable development. This is reflected in the Economic Survey 2024-25, tabled in the Parliament today by Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
The Survey mentions that despite having a very low per capita carbon emission, India is on a development pathway that not only ensures affordable energy security but also job creation, economic growth, and ultimately environmental sustainability.
