India, Nov. 26 -- St. George's University (SGU) School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, has officially opened applications for its January 2026 intake, offering aspiring medical students from India the opportunity to pursue an international medical education. Since its founding in 1976, SGU has graduated more than 23,000 doctors, many of whom have gone on to practice in the United Statesand around the world who are part of a strong alumni network.1For the past eleven years, SGU has also been the largest provider of doctors into first-year US residencies, with over 1,035 placements in 2025 alone.2
