ALIGARH, Oct. 27 -- ALIGARH:The Department of Urdu, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized a Sir Syed Day programme to commemorate the visionary founder's enduring legacy and his contributions to education and social reform.

Chief Guest Prof. Tariq Chattati highlighted Sir Syed's sincerity, foresight, and resilience. He also discussed his literary genius and the intellectual foundations laid by the early associates of the Aligarh Movement, many of whom were distinguished writers and thinkers.
