ALIGARH, Nov. 14 -- ALIGARH : Prof. Mohammad Tabish has been appointed as Chairman, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Life Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, for a period of three years with effect from November 15, 2025.
Prof. Tabish is a distinguished molecular biologist whose research spans more than three decades, with significant contributions in the fields of alternative splicing, protein-DNA interactions, drug-DNA binding mechanisms, and computational biology. His work has been widely published in leading international journals, including IUBMB Life, FEBS Journal, Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, Amino Acids, Biochemical Journal, and Nucleic Acids Research.
