India, Jan. 24 -- The National Asthma Council Australia (NAC) has announced the appointment of Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) nomineeDr Amanda Crossto the board.
Dr Cross is a clinical pharmacist and Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's Centre for Medicine Use and Safety, within the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS). Her work focuses on medicine safety and quality use of medicines for older adults. She is particularly interested in the role of healthcare professionals working as knowledge brokers to support the uptake of research evidence and guidelines into clinical practice. Evidence-to-practice gaps are a major barrier to avoiding medication-related harm.
