ALIGARH, Nov. 7 -- UK NeuroCon 2025, where Dr. Raman Sharma, Chairman of the Department, was honoured for his contributions to neurosurgical development.
Dr. Sharma recently performed a complex brain aneurysm clipping surgery through a fully endoscopic transnasal approach, an uncommon and technically demanding procedure, demonstrating the department's growing expertise in endoscopic skull base surgery. The department is now among the few centres in the region routinely performing endoscopic spine surgeries, he said.
Prof Sharma added that the super-specialty neurosurgery training programme, introduced two years ago, is nearing its first cycle of completion and the department plans to organise an Endoscopic Spine Conference to promote cont...
