ALIGARH, May 2 -- The Department of Home Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized a field visit for B.Sc. Community Science students to Noor Tara, a local Pattiwork Handicraft unit in Aligarh, as part of their academic exposure to traditional textile-based entrepreneurship.
The visit aimed to provide students with an understanding of business operations rooted in indigenous craft practices. During the visit, students observed processes related to design, production, quality control, branding, marketing, and retailing. The interaction offered practical insights into how traditional skills can be aligned with modern entrepreneurial strategies.
