India, Dec. 5 -- Students of Screen Acting and Documentary Cinema at FTII Itanagar, India's third national film institute, have refused to begin their Second Semester, declaring that they have already lost a full academic semester in a collapsed academic environment and an unfinished campus.
Despite being promised a state-of-the-art national institute, students were made to study in a building still under construction- with no functional studios, no preview theatre, faulty classrooms, limited cameras, no sound studio, inefficient medical support, and no access to basic human needs.
