ALIGARH, Feb. 5 -- ALIGARH :An expert session on Quality Issues in Hospitals was organised by the Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, for MBA (Hospital Administration) students of the first and final year.
Dr Shiraz Khan, a research scholar in the department, discussed key healthcare concepts including telehealth, medical tourism, and public and private healthcare systems, with a focus on quality concerns and medical errors in hospitals. He also explained the role of quality assurance mechanisms and the significance of NABH accreditation standards in hospital functioning and patient safety.
