India, Jan. 29 -- Chairperson of the District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam Shri Mohd Afzal Parray, visited Bhan village of District Kulgam to assess the damages caused by a fire incident that occurred on 27-01-2025. The fire severely damaged a tin shed, timber worth lakhs, a timber machine, and other valuable property belonging to Shabir Ahmad Najar, son of Gh. Mohd Najar.
During the visit, the Chairperson met with the affected family and local residents to understand the extent of the losses. Expressing deep concern over the incident, he urged the district administration to provide immediate relief and compensation to the victim. He also assured the family that necessary steps would be taken to support their rehabilitation.
