India, May 20 -- The National Symposium on Makhana Processing and Value Addition took place today at Lemon Tree Premier in Patna, focusing on unlocking the potential of makhana (fox nuts) as India's aquatic superfood for rural prosperity. The event was chaired by Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), who chaired a key technical session on innovative processing techniques and value addition for makhana, a crop that holds immense cultural and economic significance for Bihar.
