Yadav highlighted the significance of transitioning to a circular economy, which he described as an imperative for India's future.

New Delhi : Mr Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change urged the recycling industry in the country to develop and adopt newer innovative technologies for reducing dependence on natural resources as well as cutting down imports of critical minerals needed for economic growth.
