Aligarh, May 31 -- Mr. Ashiq Ali, a Nursing Officer at J.N. Medical College and Hospital, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and Vice President of the All India Government Nurses Federation, recently attended the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

He is the first nursing officer from AMU to receive an invitation to this distinguished event, making it a proud moment for the university.

The ceremony, held to honour the dedication and excellence of nursing professionals, saw the Hon'ble President of India present the Florence Nightingale Award to 15 outstanding nurses from across the country.
