ALIGARH, April 20 -- A total of 13,639 candidates out of 15,821 applicants appeared for the entrance test for admission to the B.Tech/B.Arch courses at Aligarh Muslim University. The examination was held in the morning shift today across seven cities in the country-Aligarh, New Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Srinagar, and Kozhikode. At the Aligarh centre alone, 6,896 candidates wrote the test for engineering courses.
The University also conducted the entrance test for admission to the BALLB programme from 3 pm to 5 pm. A total of 6,291 candidates had applied for this test, which was held at centres in the same seven cities.
