Aligarh, Sept. 25 -- Aligarh :The Maulana Azad Library of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has received a remarkable addition to its collection with the donation of over seven hundred unpublished Urdu letters of the distinguished scholar and literary figure, Professor Rasheed Ahmad Siddiqui. The letters were formally handed over to the University Librarian, Professor Nishat Fatima, by Mr. Mehr Ilahi Nadeem in a ceremony held at the library.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Hina Rasheed, the younger daughter-in-law of the late Professor Siddiqui, Dr. Ata Khursheed, Incharge of the Oriental Division, and Mr. Mohsin Jafri, Incharge of the Manuscripts Division of the library.
