ALIGARH, June 6 -- Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Pharmacology and Coordinator of the Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Monitoring Centre at J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), delivered an invited lecture titled "History and Basic Concepts of Pharmacovigilance" during the inaugural session of the 33rd Skill Development Programme on Pharmacovigilance.

The five-day intensive training programme has been designed by the National Coordinating Centre of the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (NCC-PvPI), which functions under the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
